BOND OF BROTHERS

The fighting WILCOX clan hail from Hamilton, Ontario with roots deeply embedded in the boxing scene both in the Amateur and Professional ranks. TONIGHT, we will witness for the first time in Canadian History, 4 brothers entering the RING on the same bout sheet. Not since the fighting Hilton family out of Montreal has Canada seen anything like this. 4 Brothers on a professional card is unheard of, but the MIGHTY WILCOX CLAN are bursting on the scene in spectacular fashion. While we pick up the story here, the story begins with both the Patriarch of the family Robert Wilcox Sr. and the Matriarch Cheryl Wilcox.
The Wilcox family consists of 7 children, beginning with Robert (Robbie) Jr. who is instrumental in being one of the MAIN reasons we are here tonight! Our focus is beyond the fight card, our goal is to draw awareness to childhood cancer. Bob and Cheryl would lose their eldest son to this horrible disease at the tender age of seven. The WILCOX family have been crusaders in drawing awareness and Robbie is everywhere they go and a part of everything they do, Robbie would lose his battle, but the fight would continue in his name. Championed by the rest of the children (in order of arrival 😊) Steven, Jessie, Bradley, Sheldon, Spencer & Amber…Yes, they saved the best for last, a daughter who is by and large the boy’s biggest fan. The Robbie Wilcox Foundation was created to assist in the research for Childhood Cancer in addition to assisting in other charitable organizations in Robbie’s honour. Ladies and Gentlemen…Tonight we honour Robbie and his family and thank you all for attending and witnessing an action-packed unique EVENT.

In the ring, out of the ring, on the mic in front of the camera, I will always put my best foot forward and provide nothing but my 100% effort” Steve Molitor
